Tony Mottola with the Groovies (The Free Design) - Warm, Wild & Wonderful (1968)

Να εξηγήσουμε τι συμβαίνει και ανέβασα αυτό που βλέπετε. Στα bonus tracks του προηγούμενου δίσκου ανέφερα την συμμετοχή του Tony Mottola. Ο κιθαρίστας αυτός έβγαλε ένα δίσκο με ένα γκρουπ που λεγόταν Tony Mottola with the Groovies. Η ουσία είναι ότι κάτω από το όνομα the Groovies κρύβονταν οι The Free Design. Οπότε έκρινα πως καλό θα ήταν να έχουμε (με λίγο ψαξιμο στο net) όλες τις συνθέσεις στις οποίες συμμετέχουν οι Free Design αφού πιστεύω πως αξίζει τον κόπο.

Excellent stuff -- easily Tony Mottola's greatest album from the time! The reason for this is that he's recording here with a vocal group that's called The Groovies -- a group that we think may well be The Free Design operating under another name, mostly because Free Designer Chris Dedrick handles the arrangements for the album, and also contributed 2 songs also sung by the Free Design -- "I Found Love" and "Kites Are Fun". The style of the record has The Groovies singing on about a third of the tracks -- scatting along jazzily next to guitar solo lines by Tony. Other tracks include "Watch What Happens", "Do You Know The Way To San Jose", "Love In Every Room", "Cry Me A River", and "Scarborough Fair".

Tracks:

1. This Guy's In Love With You - 3:18
2. Do You Know The Way To San Jose - 2:46
3. Dream A Little Dream Of Me - 3:06
4. With A Little Help - 2:46
5. Scarborough Fair - 2:45
6. Watch What Happens - 2:47
7. By The Time I Get To Phoenix - 3:04
8. Kites Are Fun - 2:33
9. Cry Me A River – 2:59
10. Goin Out Of My Head - 2:30
11. Love In Every Room - 2:42
12. I Found Love 2:26
